The underground nightlife in Berlin is largely obscured by a cloud of smoke and steam; only those on the inside are privy to the sights and sounds of the wild parties, for which the city is known. Gegen, however, a queer techno party held at Kit Kat Club, often permits photographers to document the dance floor. The rules of Gegen are simple: party-goers must leave all judgement and most clothing at the door.
